First, I’m glad the show is on Spotify now! I really like the design of this here website, but having everything on Spotify is super convenient to actually listen to the episodes and queue up old episodes I want to listen to again.
But……I noticed, a bunch of the early episodes are NOT on Spotify. I think it begins on Episode 47 or so.
Is that intentional? Or are you planning to add the first 50 or so episodes? I’d love to have access to them on Spotify….so hopefully that gets worked out.

Hi, first of all thanks for a fantastic podcast. I am relatively new to Satanism and found this thanks to my local group Noosa Temple of Satan who shared one of your posts on Facebook so shout out to my local community for pointing me towards you. NToS only do one regular yearly event, our Halloween Mas which has turned into a protest against the councils ongoing discrimination against us as a religious group, so finding you has brought some well needed Satan into my life around the year 😁😈🖤. Onto the theme of this bonus episode, as a Swedish-Australian I find it hard sometimes to get into celebration mode for the different seasons, the seasons here being the reverse of what I grew up with. Hearing you talk about Blakulla reminded me of how I used to celebrate Easter Thursday as the big Swedish Witches Sabbath, now that you have mentioned Blakulla I feel like I can bring this tradition back as a reason to hold a Satanic ritual, yey! To explain, the witches flight to Blakulla (BTW it just translates to Blue Hill and there are several different places in Sweden that claim to be this mythical gathering place for unholy feasts) is celebrated in Sweden much like a Swedish version of Halloween. On the Thursday before Easter children dress up as witches, in brightly coloured headscarves and aprons or top hats with feathers and bright make-up and go around with a broomstick and cauldron or copper kettle, collecting candy from the neighbours. I usually celebrate the day by holding a dinner for some friends but I have fallen out of this practice of late, with covid and everything. Now I feel motivated to bring this back as an official Personal Satanic holiday, thanks 😁.

The skill to discern fact from fiction is absolutely vital in the realm of never-ending lies and bullshit we’re all exposed to on a daily basis. Somehow hadn’t heard this episode yet.
Just wanted to say I found your response to the critical review pretty fair.
Needless to say, it’s your podcast and you can inject whatever politics you want into it. AND you state right up front that it’s left-leaning. So anyone who’s then annoyed by that….well, they had fair warning.

But your response was good. Agreed with all three of you…including Tabitha not being super keen on spending a whole lot of time dwelling on critical comments.

Personally, I quite enjoy the political angle of this show. In part because Satanism, in years past at least, unfortunately had a weird flirtation with fascist ideas and aesthetics. Sometimes more than mere flirtation. It’s important to have TST and shows like this push back on that and present a liberal alternative to the character of Satan as a more Romantic Promethean figure…as opposed to the red strong man mowing down the weak.

Lastly, I do find it VERY whiny how easily people get offended when someone presents a political opinion they don’t agree with. I mean….so what? Maybe you’re wrong. Or maybe they’re wrong. Or maybe hearing another argument will bolster your own ideas…or make you reflect on things differently. People get way too hot and bothered over mere disagreement lately.

Hell, while I agree with you all politically on damn near everything….I’m also very much a free speech absolutist. I’m a big proponent of LGBTQ+ rights and rethinking of gender politics and expression, etc. But do I think those who are vehemently opposed to all that should be censored in any way whatsoever? No. I don’t. And I know most of my liberal friends disagree with me on that.

Direct and specific calls to violence is one thing….but I WANT to live in a society where everyone feels 100% free to express themselves truly and openly and honestly, no matter how dark or unethical or abhorrent that may be. For one, I want to know what people REALLY think. And I want to have an open public conversation about that. I don’t want those people cancelled and shooed away into dark corners where we can’t hear them. That leads to big problems down the line.

But I get I’m kinda in the minority among liberals in thinking all that. And I’ve heard this show discuss free speech in ways I don’t quite agree with….seeing as my defense of free speech is very much about never shutting down speech I specifically despise…but rather, speaking back.

Anyway….I’m rambling a bit. All that to say….I’m glad this show is political. I’m glad I can gain energy and inspiration listening to three people I agree with 95% of the time. And I’m glad we disagree 5% of the time. Keeps things interesting.

um….Hail Satan! lol
I need to go to bed…..
